Rendered Speechless

I am often amazed at how mighty God is and on occasion I am rendered speechless. This past week, I have watched neighbors, friends, family members, church members, even co-workers, even animals being used by God. It floors me the lengths God will go to get our attention. I am so thankful to be surrounded by the Body of Christ no matter where I am....not just at church. I have come across brothers and sisters in Christ in some unusual places....the check-out line at the grocery store, the gas station, the YMCA, malls, etc. You name it, I've seen it. I've been ministered to though BUMPER STICKERS, FACEBOOK, T-shirts, even my own children! Sometimes I am overwhelmed by God's presence and I just wanted to share.

Momma Summer Camp

Well,

Momma summer camp officially kicked off today with Karate class and a trip to Frankie's fun Park. Fun was had by all, including me, making complete fool out of myself on the dance, dance revolution game. Mini-golf, arcade games, pinball, ten-pin bowling, bumper boats, and go-kart driving was the order of the day. Our day ended with a trip to McDonald's. I think that was more for me than them. I wasn't feeling any cooking this evening. I am excited about all we have to look forward too.

Momma Summer Camp will have Swim team, pool visits daily (my poor hair), baseball/T-ball, zoo, waterpark, train rides, kids museum, family visits and reunion, karate, drum lessons, guitar lessons, zumba/salsa for me, and last but not least our family vacation to Disney. We are also adding two new members to our family, Leo and Sasha. Two beautiful red cockapoo puppies. Tomorrow after church my girlfriend and I will be spending 3 hours at Wisteria Spa for some pampering, while daddy is bonding with the boys.

I know I will be worn out everyday, but it will be worth it.

Just getting started

Trying to decide the focus of my blog but just realized that I don't need a focus! This is a creative way to document my thoughts, celebrations, fears, views, opinions, and even mundane routine life events. I love it. Most people who know me, know I LOVE to talk. So maybe I won't use as many cell phone minutes if I blog. Blogging costs me nothing.

So what's on my mind today? Well a few things. I am contemplating Spring Break starting next week and what we will do. Mom and Sis will be in town for Easter, but we will be activity-free once they leave. Maybe a roadtrip? We'll see.
